In the 68 years since its founding in 1947, the Bainbridge Rotary has only once given out more money through community grants than it will this year. The large take from last summer’s Rotary Auction, more than $467K, means the Rotary can award $123,245.
The Rotary has just announced 24 recipients for the 2015 Community Grant cycle. In addition, the Rotary will use auction proceeds to fund numerous capital projects on the Island, scholarships for continuing education, and international projects.
